Baby Doe was born from a simple frustration: as new mothers, we couldn’t find shoes for our little ones that were genuinely soft, truly safe, and actually beautiful — all at once. So we decided to make them ourselves.

We’re Yashna Dham and Surbhi Kapur — friends first, mamas second, and now business partners. We met back in 2017, years before either of us imagined making shoes.
When our own little ones started finding their feet, we went looking for footwear that was soft enough for brand-new toes, safe against sensitive skin, and pretty enough to twirl in. We couldn’t find it — so we built Baby Doe, designing every pair in-house and crafting them in small batches in India.
